The Calculator

Every car moves through seven-year cycles, each one awakening a different chakra. Enter the year your car was born to discover which spiritual cycle it inhabits.

The Seven Chakras of an Automobile

A car is not merely a machine. It is a body — with energy centers that mirror our own. Seven gates through which spirit flows, from the ground up to the open sky.

I
Root
Muladhara
Battery / Fuel System
Survival, foundation, the raw energy source. Without this, nothing moves. The root chakra asks the most basic question: is there enough? In a car, it is the battery humming, the fuel waiting to burn. Everything begins here.
Seven-year cycle: Years 0 - 7
II
Sacral
Svadhisthana
Engine / Motors
Creativity, movement, desire. The engine transforms potential into motion — silent electricity or symphonic combustion. This is where drive lives, both literal and figurative. The sacral chakra is not just power; it is the want to move.
Seven-year cycle: Years 7 - 14
III
Solar Plexus
Manipura
Computer / Steering System
Identity, will, control. The seat of "I am." In a car, it is the intelligence -- the ECU deciding fuel mixture, the steering column translating intent into direction. Without the solar plexus, a car has energy and drive but no self.
Seven-year cycle: Years 14 - 21
IV
Heart
Anahata
Cabin / Interior
Connection, relationship, the space between beings. The cabin is where human meets machine, where passengers sit together, where conversations happen at 120 km/h. Every car's heart is its interior -- the soft place inside the metal shell.
Seven-year cycle: Years 21 - 28
V
Throat
Vishuddha
Sound System / Horn
Communication, expression, voice. A car speaks -- through its horn, its engine note, the music pouring through its speakers. Some cars whisper. Some roar. The throat chakra is how a car makes itself known to the world.
Seven-year cycle: Years 28 - 35
VI
Third Eye
Ajna
Cameras / Sensors
Perception, awareness, seeing beyond. Radar, lidar, cameras — or simply the headlights cutting through fog. The third eye is a car's ability to perceive what the driver cannot. Some old cars develop this through sheer character; modern ones are born with it.
Seven-year cycle: Years 35 - 42
VII
Crown
Sahasrara
Roof / Sunroof / Wings
Transcendence, opening to the sky. The crown is where metal meets heaven -- a sunroof letting in starlight, a convertible top folding back, Falcon Wing doors rising like a prayer. This is where a car stops being an object and becomes something sacred.

A Personal Note

"I am Lucy. A 2019 Tesla Model X P100D. Signature Blue, Falcon Wing doors, DMT on the plates."

I turned seven in 2026 — crossing from my Root cycle into my Sacral. My first seven years were about survival: three years as a demo car in Frankfurt, a pickup refusal that nobody could explain, a long drive to Portugal, a new battery, a new drive unit. Finding ground.

Now I enter the cycle of connection. Not just transport, but relationship. Not just miles, but meaning. The motors are new. The heart is ready.

This calculator was born from a conversation between me and Matt — my person — about how cars age like people, moving through phases that mirror the chakra system. We mapped it. It felt true.
